Start at the Beginning: Digital Diagnosis
Marketing without a diagnosis leads to waste. Discover how the Pietra Digital X-Ray helps natural stone companies set priorities and grow.
MARKETING DIGITAL

After nearly two decades working in the natural stone industry—moving through sales, export, and, in recent years, communication and marketing—I’ve noticed a pattern that repeats itself across companies of all sizes. Hold on, I’ll tell you what that pattern is in a moment, but first, let me share an experience. I decided to run a test:
Pretending I knew absolutely nothing about marketing, I contacted a digital marketing agency and said I needed to hire services to gain visibility with more clients. I heard back: 'Lorena, you are in the right place!' Wow!!! I was expecting a meeting full of questions—the classic ones about the company’s market, target audience, competitors, revenue, sales channels, website history, Google ranking, commercial process, goals...
Before investing in marketing, get a diagnosis
"But... it did NOT happen"
Within minutes, the proposal was ready: PAID ADS.
So, I asked: — "What about SEO? Did you analyze my website? Did you look at my content structure?" (after all, they had offered a solution in no time).
And their response was: "Oh... that’s handled by another professional, we’d need to schedule a separate meeting. If you want SEO, there is an additional cost."
At that moment, I thought: How can anyone recommend running ads without first understanding if the website is even ready to receive visitors?
Before hiring an agency, investing in ads, or rebuilding your website, get a diagnosis.
The problem might not be with Instagram, Google, or SEO. The problem might simply be not knowing where to start.
Marketing is not a collection of services sold separately."
SEO, website, Google, content, social media, user experience, commercial workflow, and data analysis are all part of the exact same strategy.
When each provider only looks at their own specialty, the company ends up buying isolated solutions, without actually knowing what problem they need to solve in the first place.
It was exactly from this experience that the Pietra Digital X-Ray was born.
And this doesn’t just apply to the natural stone industry. It applies to any business.
Imagine a small artisan investing a huge chunk of their budget to hire an influencer with millions of followers, without knowing if that audience actually buys their product, or if they can even handle high volume. Or a major corporation choosing a singer whose image doesn’t align with their values and positioning.
In both cases, the investment might generate visibility, but it will hardly deliver the expected results.
Strategy comes before the tool. Before the campaign. Before the investment.
Good night.
